Start with the price bands, then work backward

- Edge paint. Smooth and thin, not gloppy.
- Lining and interior stamps. Ask for a photo of the inside, not just the front.
Wholesale pricing: the numbers behind the unit cost
Factory-direct pricing depends on order size. A single sample might run $150. At ten pieces the same bag can drop to $95, and at 25 pieces it can fall into the $70s. Ask for the tiered price sheet before you commit to anything. Shipping is the second half of the equation: courier service costs more but clears faster, while air mail is cheap and slow. Get in writing who absorbs the loss if a parcel gets held.
Pitfalls that cost the most money
- Sellers who only post catalog photos and never send QC images of your actual unit.
- No stated return or reship policy. If it is not written down, it does not exist.
- Irreversible payment methods with no recourse, especially transfers to a personal name.
- Claims of "authentic" or "same factory as the brand." Neither claim is true, and a seller who makes them is telling you something about how they operate.
The legal risk you should price in
Counterfeit goods are illegal to import into the United States. CBP can seize and destroy a shipment, and trademark owners can pursue civil claims against buyers and resellers. A single bag for personal use usually ends with a seizure notice and a lost payment. Buying in bulk to resell raises the stakes substantially. Weigh that against the savings before you wire anything.

- Can you send dated QC photos of the exact bag I am buying?
- What is the per-unit price at 5, 10, and 25 pieces?
- Which shipping line do you use, and what happens if customs seizes it?
- What is the return window, and who pays return shipping?
Get answers to all four in writing. A seller who dodges any of them is not worth the discount.
