Taupe is a color description, not an official Hermes color name. Hermes does not list a Birkin color called Taupe. A seller who advertises a taupe Birkin replica is describing a gray-brown tone. The nearest Hermes names are Etoupe, Gris Tourterelle, Trench and Gris Asphalte. Ask for the factory color code before you pay, because two suppliers can use the word taupe for different hides.
