Answer first: Loewe sizes run in a ladder that moves in roughly 5 cm steps. A Mini sits near 18 to 20 cm wide, a Small lands around 24 to 27 cm, a Medium is usually 29 to 30 cm, and anything above 32 cm is a tote or travel bag. If you only remember one number, remember 24 cm. That is the Small Puzzle, the size most people end up carrying daily.
The Puzzle Ladder, With Numbers
The Puzzle is the easiest line to compare because the dimensions are published and consistent across colorways. Treat these as the reference and measure whatever you have in front of you against them.

What Fits, Size by Size
Mini: a phone, a cardholder, keys, and a lipstick. A sunglasses case will force the bag open and stress the zip line. Small: phone, cardholder, keys, sunglasses in a soft sleeve, plus a small pouch. This is the smallest size that carries a full daily kit without strain. Medium: adds a compact camera, a flat water bottle, or a tablet. Large: laptop territory, and heavy enough that the strap becomes a real consideration.
I look at depth before height when judging capacity. A bag that is 18 cm deep swallows far more than one at 11 cm, even when the footprints match. The gusset is where usable volume lives.
Sizes on Other Loewe Lines
Hammock sizes shift the proportions rather than the width. The shape is taller than it is wide, so a Hammock Small at roughly 25 cm across carries like a medium bag because the height is close to 25 cm too. Flamenco sizes run looser, with the mini around 20 cm and the medium past 29 cm, and the body drapes, which changes how much the bag actually holds. Barcelona sizes are compact: the mini is barely wide enough for a large phone, and the medium sits closer to a Small Puzzle.
If a listing for any of these lines gives you only one number, ask for the other two. Width alone tells you very little.
Comparing a Copy Against the Real Specs
Measure the base width at the widest point, the height at the center seam, and the depth with the gusset fully open. Then compare against the numbers above. The usual deviations are a base width one centimeter short, a depth that collapses to 60 percent of spec, and hardware scaled down with it. Handle drop matters too, so measure the strap end to end instead of trusting a stated length.
Choosing a Size
